A Word from the Founders:
Welcome to CAMP group information files. We are the founders of the soon to be registered party that we hope will change the way Canadian Politics works. We would like to bring Canada back to a true democracy.
If you’re like us, a regular every day Canadian who works for a living and wants an alternative to the political scene in Ottawa, then we believe you will get excited about CAMP and what we offer.
We call ourselves founders and not leaders because of how CAMP is set up to function. According to Elections Canada, we need a party leader to become a registered political party. As founders we are filling that roll until CAMP members elect one of our own to assume the roll. Once we are a registered party we will be able to participate in our first Canadian federal election.
At the present time we as Canadians have just elected our second Conservative minority government. This is what prompted us to finally do something in a positive manner, to see if everyday Canadians can help us to change the political landscape of Canada for the better. We are just two Canadians, and you are also one. Together we make 3 and then 4 and 5 and so on. We get excited thinking of what could be if we can get the ball rolling! You help me and I’ll help you. It’s as simple as that. So please if you haven’t already joined our cause, feel free to do so.
At this point in time we have a number of items to address in becoming a registered party. We promise, if you become a member, and stick with us, we should be able to participate in the next election. We truly look forward to meeting everyone who becomes a member, if it is possible through rallies, meetings and campaigns in the future. We have a lot of work to do. The more minds and hands the better and the easier the task will become.
We know there is a place for you in CAMP, where you can help change your Canada, and help make Canadian History as our CAMP becomes a reality.
The most important thing we need right now is people like you. And we need a lot of people. If you are on board with us then please talk to all your friends and acquaintances, business, social, church, neighbourhood, anywhere a kind ear will listen.
Direct them to this blog so they can learn. Print them off a hard copy if you can so they can read. If they don’t have a computer we have an address that they can send regular mail to for joining.
